TREE SURFERS INSTRUCTOR SEASONAL

Seasonal Contract          27th March to 31st August

Weekly Rate:                        £360- £440.00 a week

Holiday Entitlement:           28 days holiday (pro rata a year)

Flexible Working Hours:    Hours of work can vary and will include all weekends and holidays periods. Pay is based on a 40 hour week. You may be expected to work 6 days a week in busy periods, with more time off in quieter periods.

Training:                               All training will be provided

Job Role

To assist the management team in successfully running the site,  including all aspects of the activities including care of equipment and facilities, following health and safety training, plus customer care and administration.

To meet the requirements of the role, all instructors need to successfully complete Tree Surfers  in-house training program. You will be required to work unsupervised at height and therefore need to meet our minimum health and safety requirements.

Your duties will include the instruction and delivery of all of activities on site.

 Person Requirements

 Essential

  •  Safety conscious, with a professional approach, able to work under own initiative without supervision
  • A positive attitude with drive and enthusiasm to achieve
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in a dynamic working environment
  • High energy levels with a cheerful disposition and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must love working outdoors and have a good head for heights
  • Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail and diligently follow company procedures
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Previous experience is not a requirement as all training will be provided on site, however see ‘Desirable’ below.

Desirable

  • Previous instructional experience
  • Climbing or high ropes experience

A casual contract means you will be added to the rota at times that suit you and paid on an hourly basis. However you must be available for regular days in the Easter holidays and summer holidays

Hourly Rate:                        £9.00 to  £10.42 an hour

Flexible Working Hours:    Hours of work and start/finish times can vary based on a rota system and will include weekends and holidays periods. This means you may be required to start at 8am or later at 10am and finish times can vary too.

Training:                               All training will be provided

Job Role

DUTY MANAGER SEASONAL

Seasonal Contract                  27th March to 31st August Full Time

Weekly Rate:                          £420 – £500 a week

Holiday Entitlement:           28 days holiday (pro rata a year)

Flexible Working Hours:    Hours of work can vary and will include all weekends and holidays periods. Pay is based on a 40 hour week. You may be expected to work 6 days a week in busy periods, with more time off in quieter periods.

Training:                               All training will be provided

Job Role

  • Oversee all aspects of the daily running of the Centre
  • Supervise staff team during day
  • Run staff rota
  • Be front of house, run reception, take bookings and payment face to face and on the phone
  • Deal with all customer enquiries and complaints
  • Generate end of day activity reports including point of sale
  • Open and lock up building
  • Be familiar with all operations and deal with any incidents on site
  • Ensure site and team ready and able to deliver high quality activities and experiences

 Person Requirements

  • Have proven experience of staff supervision, front of house or similar
  • To be customer focused with excellent communication skills
  • Organised with good IT skills
  • Retail or leisure experience preferable
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in a dynamic working environment
  • High energy levels with a cheerful disposition and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be available either Saturdays or Sundays or both.

DUTY MANAGER CASUAL

Flexible Working Hours:    Hours of work and start/finish times can vary based on a rota system and will include weekends and holidays periods. This means you may be required to start at 8am or later at 10am and finish times can vary too.

Training:                               All training will be provided

Job Role

  • To assist in every aspect of the centre and activities.
  • To work along side instructors and reception staff to help deliver all activities
  • Check, clean and maintain equipment
  • Interact with customers, answer questions pass messages
  • This role does not require you to work at heights, but you may still be involved in running activities

 Person Requirements

CAFE LEAD CASUAL

Our Café: The café sells hot and cold drinks, light food, snacks and cakes. Food preparation includes heating pasties, preparing in house filled sandwiches.

A casual contract means you will be added to the rota at times that suit you and paid on an hourly basis. However you must be available for regular days in the Easter holidays and summer holidays

Hourly Rate:                        £9.00 to  £10.42 an hour

  • To open the café, prepare food and get ready for opening.
  • Take orders, hand out food
  • Maintain high standards of food and personal hygiene
  • Take cash, card and contactless payment
  • Complete daily cleaning routines and record them
  • Supervise assistant café staff
  • Interact with customers, answer questions pass messages
  • Clean down and close the café, complete daily records.

 Person Requirements

 Essential

  • Previous experience of food retail
  • Hygiene conscious, with a professional approach, able to work under own initiative without supervision
  • A positive attitude with drive and enthusiasm to achieve
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be an enthusiastic team player and be able to work with other colleagues in a dynamic working environment
  • High energy levels with a cheerful disposition and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be 18 years or older
